Especially in winter, the local mountain Schmittenhöhe See shows itself from an extremely advantageous side – the snow-white one. On 75 km of perfectly groomed pistes, “professionals” and amateur athletes can enjoy the white splendor every day.


Kitzsteinhorn

The nearby Kitzsteinhorn glacier area guarantees skiing fun all year round at 3000 meters with a fun park for snowboarders and freestylers.

As far as the eye can see, the 40 km of cross-country ski trails meander through Zell am See-Kaprun and the neighboring communities. On the Schmitten there is a wonderful high-altitude trail around the Plettsaukopf reservoir – with a view of the entire region!
